Since this site is my personal site, I get to dispense with all the formality. So, let me share a few things about me.
There was a moment a few years ago where a thought settled in and became a truth for me. That thought was this, I am certifiably unemployable.
Not because I am not a good employee; far from it actually. I just see business different than others.
I judge my results based off of results, not time.
I’ve never been afraid of commission based jobs or being responsible for my own success. When I’ve worked in corporate environments I’ve looked past the nonsense and sought to streamline as if it was my own.
Maximize profits. Provide the best opportunities for the clients.
I’ve had that perspective regardless of my employment.
It’s come with both it’s highs and lows. I’ve eluded the security of a day job for most of my adult life; while built several successful businesses as well.
I’ve succeeded. I’ve failed. And I always get back up.
Fast forward to 2016. After several iterations to market and brand my projects;
IamMrPrescott.com is live.
Here’s why: All my branding up to this point had been via Rules of Success. I owned all the domains for my namesake, and was using none of them. They were all set up with redirects to RulesofSuccess.com.
Not anymore. I am Mr. Prescott.
You want more of the story?
In late 2014, I started what became The Rules of Success Podcast. It was an outlet to share my perspective about life and all of it’s challenges and blessings.
The Rules of Success Podcast focuses on the areas of health, spirituality, relationships and business. The purpose is to provide the listener a fast track to both enjoy quicker success and to avoid unnecessary pitfalls.
The success I have enjoyed has come with it’s fair share of failure and embarrassment, and it is the polarity of these experiences that is the basis for our refreshing take on balance, success and true achievement. Our guests are successful actors, professional athletes, renowned therapists and captains of industry in many respective fields.
I love my podcast. I digress.
In Spring of 2015, I published his book The Science of Getting Rich presented by Rules of Success; an expansion of the classic self-development staple The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles. In the Fall of 2015.
As I was re-writing The Science of Getting Rich presented by Rules of Success I was reminded of the power of the law of attraction. It’s always in effect; whether we recognize it or not.
Some of my most impressive financial successes came after a deliberate intention to apply that science in my life; the perfect combination of thought and action.
Those successes became very vivid in my mind while working on my book and I felt a pull to help others achieve their own version of success by applying the science.
I then released the companion course “Apply the Science” to the public; an in-depth and accelerated workshop to help those inspired by The Science of Getting Rich to achieve the results possible by applying the science of that book in their lives. But there was something missing. I was effectively re-living a past success while trying to sell others on a coaching program to which I needed the money to live.
It was disingenuous. “Let me show you how to get rich, while getting rich from you while showing you.” I couldn’t be a part of it. If I was going to be authentic in my testimony of the science, it needed to be separate from my desire to help others to get there themselves.
Anyway, I chose to revisit that simple formula with full commitment.
I got clear with my intentions, made the necessary changes to my mindset and skill sets and started living on purpose… again.
As the science was applied, things started to happen.
Relationships appeared in my life that I could not explain. Other relationships left. Producing a podcast taught me a whole new set of skills that opened doors outside of podcasting. As did creating the Apply the Science program. As I lived the tenets of Rules of Success and the Science of Getting Rich, I started feeling a pull toward real estate; something that I hadn’t felt since I left that industry in 2011.
Then the picture became clearer.
Urbia Exchange was born.
The result is a marketplace where both buyers and sellers of real estate have access to opportunities in an unprecedented manner. At the click of a button, subscribers of UrbiaEx.com can find and view qualified real estate assets; seeing neighborhoods, trends and market specifics all in one location. This is on top of a dedicated Tool Box to give you access to up to date information specific to the real estate industry. (As of the writing of this post it was still in Beta, yet already profitable).
Late 2015, we arranged our first transaction for Urbia Exchange. Science being applied, progress and profits occurring weekly.
My coaching and consulting is a thriving revenue stream for me, only now I am have a more authentic perspective for creating a viable business.
Deliberate. Focused. Calculated.
That’s how we roll..
Anyway, throughout all of this, I was seeing that I hadn’t created an outlet to be me. To write blog posts that had nothing to do with my business.
To be a smart ass.
To invite dialogue that wasn’t shiny.
If it’s not specific to Rules of Success, or Urbia Exchange you’ll find it here.
Now you can follow my story as it swerves from thread to thread.
I’ll share about my LIFE. Not just my business or projects. It will be raw. unfiltered. And completely relevant to the man behind the microphone.
You can learn about what makes me tick in every episode of Rules of Success. You can understand my business at UrbiaEx.com. You can engage my coaching and consulting by reaching out to me directly.
You can see the peripheral here.
I am Mr. Prescott.
