Today’s episode of Rules of Success is special.
It’s the 100th episode and is a benchmark that signifies so much growth, expansion, and wonderment for me. I have to spend a lot of time considering what I should do for the content; who the special guest should be etc…
I even launched a Twitter campaign to get David Spade on as my guest (no such luck yet..)
On a seemingly normal Saturday night I was feeling anxiety about this monumental episode and an idea was given to me in a brief exchange between Amie and me.
And so.
The guest for this episode is my wife and lover; Amie Prescott.
(We tell the story of this exchange on the show..)
Amie was one of our first guests all the way back on Episode 4. It has been a very popular episode for the history of our show and showcases what a bright mind she has for relationships and life.
When discussing the format for this episode, we realized that throughout the last few years of our marriage we’ve turned things around. What was once in contention is now a passion. What was once apathy is now a spirit of allowance.
Simply, we feel we’ve stumbled upon an effective formula that has created an incredibly passionate and loving union. This formula isn’t complicated. It just takes attention to details.
Everyone knows that marriage and monogamy can be one of the leading causes of stress in our lives. On the flip side, it can be a source of strength, love, and support.
We discuss the ‘why’ of these challenges and blessings in this episode. Amie and I talk about those key tenets to a successful marriage and relationship.
The pitfalls to avoid. Where to be gracious. What lines to toe and what lines to never cross.
We discuss the gamut of topics; sex, communication, parenting, We give a candid viewpoint that is masked behind the simple nature of a recorded conversation between husband and wife.
Single or committed, young or old, happy or miserable.. we offer tried and true principles to help you gain trust and affection in your relationship. If you’re a long-time listener of the show; I am certain you will enjoy it.
If you’re not and this is your first listen; Enjoy! – BP
